This pretty little shawl is perfect for Summer…just the right weight for cool nights and air conditioning. The Shenandoah is gorgeously drapey i Mojave, a sport weight cotton linen yarn. With just the right amount of modern elements and a bit of femininity, the Shenandoah is perfectly versatile. Wear it over a tank with jeans for a daytime look or dressed up over bare shoulders for an evening out.

This shawl is a crescent shawl, constructed by casting on at the neck and increasing outwardly. Increase rows allow the shawl to take shape both on the outside edges and in two veins in the body of the shawl. The outside edge is ruffled (this can easily be omitted for a flatter edge at the finish) with picot bind off, giving it a little extra femininity.
