Meet Sherman, a lazy little lamb ready to lounge around or snuggle up.

Sherman can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.A fleecy version of Sherman can be made by using a boucle yarn or other textured yarn.

My grey Sherman is made in Vanna’s Choice using three colors and bit of scrap yarn for the nose.

  • MC- Charcoal (85 yards)
  • CC1- Silver Heather (70 yards)
  • CC2- Hot Rose (less than 1 yard)

My fuzzy version is made in Bernat Soft Boucle (MC) and Vanna’s Choice (CC):

  • MC- Natural (90 yards)
  • CC1- Chocolate (70 yards)
  • CC2- Rose (less than 1 yard)

Sherman is an advanced beginner-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, increases, decreases, color changes, and some seaming.

The pattern has plenty of progress photos to help you along your way to making an adorable little sheep Also included is a photo tutorial on how create child-safe eyes from felt, although plastic safety eyes can be used as well.

Sherman can be purchased by himself or together with his sister Bobbi in the Counting Sheep E-book.
