These mittens were inspired by the fair isle peerie knitting patterns of Shetland.

The pattern is written and charted for 7”, 7.5”, and 8” circumference. Each size is available in two lengths. It is also written and charted for both a peasant and side-gore thumb.

The pattern calls for at least four colors or yarn, but you can use as many as you like and it is a great use of scraps. See the finished project for lots of color inspiration.
