This Dragonpine Designs pattern was designed by Patti-Ann Williamson.

This shawl is constructed starting with the bottom point and increasing stitches every row to create a triangle. The entire shawl is done in a combination of garter stitch and stockinette stitch, with sections of elongated stitches to create the mesh open-work. Full written instructions are included.

Gauge: gauge is not critical for this project, but if you do not have the same gauge you may require more or less yarn than stated.

Size: 60” across the top edge, 30” at the deepest point

Materials Required:
300 m of DK-weight yarn, ideally with a bit of sparkle. For this design we used 3 balls of Katia Concept Versailles in colour 90
5 mm (US 8) x 60 cm (24”) or 80cm (32”) Knitting Needles (or size required to get gauge)
5.5 mm (US 9) Knitting Needles (only for casting off; optional)
