This is a cabled sock pattern with rows of undulating cables representing Shingle Creek, and wide bands of moss stitch, representing the rocky shoreline. This pattern is recommended for knitters who have either had some sock-knitting experience, or some cable pattern experience. However, the pattern is fairly easy to memorize and works up quickly.
