真珠 SHINJU: Japanese (Romaji) for (n) pearl.

This hat is a sheer joy to knit and permits a tiny dash of decadence using this incredible yarn. The luscious bloom of cashmere and silk is perfectly paired with the open mesh pattern. The slouch is perfect and the softness is simply superb.

Construction Notes
The brim of this hat is a folded hem, worked in stocking/stockinette stitch (St st) with the body worked in Veil Pattern. 1 thread of yarn is used to work the Veil Pattern, 2 threads held together for St st folded hems.
