Snood + hoodie = shnoodie. This cowl has a built-in hood, ensuring that you stay warm from the top of your head to your collar, and your hat can’t blow off! (And if your kid specializes in tearing off hats and tossing them, the Shnoodie will at least slow that process down.) The hood is formed the same way as an afterthought heel, by making an opening in your column of knitting and knitting out from it.

• As with most hats and cowls, getting approximate gauge is good enough.
• The pattern stitch condenses vertically (pulls up) quite a bit, but it’s also quite stretchy. Measurements given in this pattern are all unstretched.
• All rounds are worked on the right side.

Takes 2, 3, 4 skeins of recommended Mochi Plus yarn for small, medium, and large sizes.
