Shogun
The top 2 photos were taken at Glendalough, Co. Wicklow.
Shogun was inspired by the dramatic color changes in Japanese Noro yarns, and is designed specifically for highly variegated yarns like Noro, Zauberball Sock and Lang Jawoll Magic Dégradé (or lots of leftovers).
Deep zig zags of clashing colors are interrupted by runs of dropped stitches. Techniques include various decreases and increases - including M1R & M1L.
The sample shawl was knit on 5mm/US8 needles with 2 partial skeins 125g/525m/580yds of Noro Kureyon Sock yarn
colors 92 & 250.
Finished dimensions: approximately 55x18in/140x45cm.
The pdf includes 3 charts and instructions.
