Sorry, this pattern is no longer available. It needs an update to include all the things I’ve learned over the past few years designing….

After I made a long version (Long Lucky), I loved this yarn and texture combination so much that I decided I wanted another. Using the same stitch pattern, I figured I’d create something that would have a totally different place in my wardrobe.

This one’s shorter, more colorful and way versatile. Still shaped but not fitted, with short sleeves. A high neck -- I was thinking nehru, but didn’t quite go there. Waaaay too Beatles for me…

The belt is a long i cord and can be worn high under the bust, around the waist, low on the hips, or not at all.

You can lose the belt and use your own - or a pin - or wear it open.

Unfortunately this Verdigis mix is hard to find these days, but it’s gorgeous. A deep green with flecks of burgundy. And it’s soft and woofy and easy to toss on with anything. But those folks at Berroco have about a hundred other gorgeous colorways in this stuff and they’d all look good :-)
