Shoulder Hobo Bag
This hobo bag is easy and fast to make, and it’s made in one piece!
Materials, tools:
Any yarn (I used polyester cord, 5 mm,~160 m (6 299 in)
Hook suitable for your yarn (I used 5 mm)
Button clasp snap
Scissors, lighter, thread, needle
Optional: stitch markers
Techniques needed to make a purse - basic stitches (US terms):
Slip stitch (sl st)
Half Double crochet (hdc)
Size of the finished item:
The size of finished bag depends on the yarn and hook size. My bag:
26 and 16 cm (10.2 and 6.2 in) - height x 30 cm (11.8 in) - length
Handle - 53 cm (20.8 in)
Gauge: 11 stitches and 6 rows in 4 inches
