Shrinking Cables Shawl

Knitting

An arc-shaped shawl, 52”/132cm at bottom, narrowing to 24”/51cm; 20”/51cm long

This simple shawl is worked from the bottom up with cables that shrink each time they cross. The garment shaping is incorporated into the cable pattern, and the fabric gets skinnier as you progress, so the knitting goes faster and faster as you near the end.
