This is not a sock with a stretchy cuff, do not cast on tightly. some may need to use a 3mm size 2 rather than the 2.75mm.

The life of an ordinary girl from Shusha took an unexpected twist. Thrown into a new world, she stood on her faith, summoned her courage and defeated that which sought to destroy her.
This sock is dedicated to my friend Becka, “Knitting Wounded”. As you fight this cancer, may you be filled with the courage of Queen Esther, a simple girl who was once called Hadassah.

Just think,
you’re here not by chance,
but by God’s choosing.
His hand formed you
and made you the person you are.
He compares you to no one else.
You are one of a kind.
You lack nothing
that His grace can’t give you.
He has allowed you to be here
at this time in history
to fulfill His special purpose
for this generation.
