This pattern is for loom knit socks. A fine gauge loom (5/16” from center of one peg to center of the next) is required, such as the AKB sock loom.

Multicolored yarn can be difficult to find interesting patterns for, since the frequent color shifts often overwhelm stitch patterns. Slipped stitches are a great way to mix things up a bit, though – they play with the colors rather than being overwhelmed by them.

Pattern is worked over a multiple of 8 stitches, and can be easily adapted to various sizes. I’ve listed a fairly wide yarn yardage range, as your personal yardage will depend on the size and length of sock you knit.
