This classic design combines flattering fit, easy fun-to-knit cables, and comfortable casual style. The simple design accentuates the beautiful hand dyed merino yarn.

The V-neck is knit right into the design for minimal finishing with the cables outlining the profile. Saddle shoulders incorporate the asymmetric cable along the sleeve cap and shoulder line. The hem is whip-stitched in place forming a neat finish for the bottom edge and sleeves.

Pattern includes both chart and written instructions for the cable; photo instructions of construction details; and schematic of front, back, and sleeve dimensions.

The pattern is named after Sigrid Undset, Norwegian author. Norwegian folk art is bold, balanced, beautiful, and there is something magical in the simple, repetitive lines and shapes. Hopefully, this sweater shares some of the Norwegian folk art traits.
