A pattern for a set of four (or whatever you like) baby booties in Noro Silk Garden Yarn. You can knit the set of 4 in the smaller size from one skein of Silk Garden - and if you do a matching (or mismatching!) colour for the sole, you’ll also get the larger size from one skein.

This pattern uses a gorgeous luxury yarn Noro Silk Garden (45% silk, 45% kid mohair, 10% lambswool). The Silk gives a luxurious feel and wonderful lustre making the colours glow. The lambswool and mohair are soft, warm and light.

The handle of the yarn and the colour transitions make for addictive knitting.

As individual balls of yarn vary, every set will be slightly different.

I haven’t trialled this pattern (yet!) with Noro Kureyon or Taiyo but in theory they should work also.

Why four booties? Because a pair can be a pain - you can never find the second one when you need it in a hurry! You can also show off the all beautiful colours of Noro and mix and match the booties according to your mood!

Sizes approximately 0-6 (6-12) months. Approximate sole length: 9.5 (10.5) cm – 3 ¾ (4 1/8) inches

You’ll need:

1 (2) 50g skein(s) of Noro Silk Garden yarn for small (large).

OR 1x 50g skein of Noro Silk Garden AND 1x 50g ball of 8-10ply yarn for the contrasting soles version (both sizes, instructions included).

Size 4 mm, double pointed needles (US size 6)
1 stitch marker
wool needle for darning in ends and embellishing
tape measure and scissors

This pattern is professionally laid out and has colour photos and tips. It is designed to be printed on double sided A4 sized paper and folded to a convenient ‘bookmark’ size. This makes it handy to carry around with your project and means it takes up less space next to you on the sofa!
