A fun pattern for a little plush duckling. The pattern includes the hat and scarf.

Materials: 50 g of worsted weight yarn in main colour, 15 g of worsted weight yarn in contrasting colour, 4 mm (US size 6) knitting needles, stuffing, buttons or safety eyes, tapestry needle.

Hat and Scarf: 20 g of worsted weight yarn, 4.5 mm (US size 7) double pointed needles and straight needles.

The duck is knit flat and seamed (it’s possible to knit most of the pieces in the round if you’re comfortable modifying the pattern a bit). The hat is knit in the round, and the scarf is knit flat. There are two tutorials on my blog: for the beak, and for the feet.

The first 3 photos show the new version of the Silly Duck, available on its own and in Fuzzy Knits. The toy was completely redesigned, while the hat and scarf remain the same.

The last photo shows the original version of the pattern.
