Little kids (heck, even big kids) love bags! They carry them everywhere … so why not have a bag with some character?

I call this guy my Abominable Snow Bag because I had a bunch of white super bulky yarn to use when I made him. I am also calling him the Silly Monster Bag because he really does look good in pretty much any color.

This pattern is really easy and finishes up quickly. You will need to know the loop stitch, but there are a plethora of tutorials around to make quick work of that (if you don’t already).

Have fun with this guy! He is obviously “lurching” for a good time (ha! … okay, sorry.)

Just a quick note: Gauge and yarn selection isn’t that important for this pattern and actually depends on how you want your monster to look in the end: a larger gauge will result in a larger bag and a smaller gauge will give you a smaller bag and a less fuzzy yarn will give you a less fuzzy monster. It’s up to you!
