A quick knit cowl that uses 1 skein or less! The design offers endless possibilities for wear: as a cowl, shoulder wrap, infinity, or even made longer and worn open as a scarf.

The stitch pattern is easy to memorize and results in a scarf so versatile you will wear it with everything from casual to dressy: button it, pin it, seam it if you like, but know that you will make this several times in as many yarn weights.

Like its landmark namesake, Silver Falls has wonderful versatility across the seasons: linen and cotton blends for summer, all the way to bulkies for winter outerwear!

This design pays tribute to Silver Falls State Park in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in Oregon. Silver Creek Falls is very close to my childhood home and I have many fond memories of fun times there with friends and family. There are 9 miles of fantastic hiking trails that loop through 10 waterfalls, swimming, picnicking, softball diamonds, horseback riding, wildlife to observe, rustic lodges, and vistas that rival the Tuscan Valley.
