This hot water bottle cover uses an impressive herringbone stitch pattern, which is only two rows and makes for a lovely dense fabric. The cover is designed with a loose rib neck so that it simply pulls over the hot-water bottle.

Measurements:
20 cm / 8 inches wide, 24 cm / 9.5 inches high to shoulder of bottle
18 cm / 7.25 inches for rib polo-neck
You can easily adjust the size to suit your own hot-water bottle if necessary – see pattern notes

Pattern designed for:
Blacker Yarns aran yarn, 3 50g balls or 2 100g balls – the sample used our lovely Norfolk Horn yarn which is soft and stylishly ivory, with dark hairs to add interest to the white base.
