The Simone Cowl uses a basic openwork rib to create one of the loveliest and simplest Shetland lace patterns. In the process of researching openwork patterns and dropped stitches for a vest design, I created this cowl and loved it. Originally published in 2015. Edited and updated for 2019. Still free. Happy knitting!
