This was an experiment in pattern writing that I did many years ago when I was still a new-ish knitter, so its not perfect, but its a good option for wider feet.

It’s been so long since I wrote this pattern, so I’m not able to offer support on this pattern, or answer pattern-related questions. I have considered taking it down, but there are some folks out there that seem to really like this pattern, so I’ll leave it up with the recommendation that you read the whole pattern first, and if any of it doesn’t make sense, then try another pattern, or adapt it using a technique you’re comfortable with. Most folks who get confused get stuck on the heel turn short rows.

I used a single ball of my vegan sock yarn and had plenty left over. You can also make the cuff longer if you’d like a longer sock, and use more of your ball up.
