This simple, elegant shawl pattern is as much part of Spin A Yarn history as the beautiful skeins of Touch Yarn hanging behind it!

The perfect way to ease yourself into knitting triangular shawls, it uses 1.25 skeins of New Zealand Touch Boucle yarn which we stock in an amazing array of hand-dyed colours. If you’re buying the yarn for a shawl from us, we’re always happy to wind off the additional 0.25 skein for you – just ask. Alternatively it can be knitted in 3x 50g balls of Rare Yarns Boucle which we also stock.

Please note, the pattern as written requires 12mm needles (Ravelry does not list these) - but gauge is flexible, so play around with different needle sizes and yarns to your hearts content. Be sure to share your finished shawls on our shop Facebook page and we’ll share them to our Gallery!
