How many times have you loved a yarn in the skein, but could not find the right stitch to show it off properly? One of the best things about broomstick lace is that it leaves lengths of yarn unworked, so you can show off your special yarns in all their glory.

This is an easy-to-make, reversible broomstick lace scarf that works well with any sock yarn that has long color changes. It would work equally well with a mottled or solid color, but for best results, choose a yarn with colors that make you go “ooh!”

Materials:
approx 450 yards of sock yarn like Mini Mochi or Drops Delight
size F (3.75mm) crochet hook
size 19 knitting needle (you only need one).
