NOTES

  • Two separate but identical pieces are made and grafted together to ensure both ends are scalloped.
  • The Kitchener stitch is recommended for grafting the two pieces together, but should you prefer, the three-needle bind-off is a great alternative.
  • Simple Chevron pattern is a multiple of 10 + 9. Customize your scarf by adjusting the number of stitches cast on using the multiple for a wider or narrower scarf / shawl.
  • The scarf pictured is knit in fingering weight yarn, though the stitch pattern lends itself wonderfully to many different weights. When choosing a different yarn weight, be sure to adjust your needle size accordingly.
