Crocheted in the round from one skein of merino/silk two-ply and one skein of merino three-ply, this is a great project for your first few skeins. Use as many first skeins as you like, swapping them out to make stripes. The major benefit to making a hat this way is that you can try it on many times as you go to make sure it fits.
