I made this simple necklace by threading glass beads onto thread and crocheting around them. Gauge is not especially important is it is only a long chain with beads added, made to the length you like.

This is a great way to use up whatever crochet thread and beads you have in your stash.

Even if you “don’t crochet,” this project is easy enough for anyone who can make a chain.
