Materials Needed, etc.

  • Yarn: 5 partial skeins of worsted weight, Superwash wool in pink, lavender, white, light green, and light blue.

  • Gauge: 26 sts/28 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch/Colorwork pattern

  • Needles: 1 set (4 or 5 small double-pointed needles) of Size 2 (US)/2.75 mm) DPNs or 1 or 2 circulars. (Or size needed to obtain gauge.

  • Tools: 1 large-eye blunt needle or tapestry needle, stitch markers or small piece of tied scrap yarn to mark beginning of rows and large motif repeat.

  • Finished Size: Circumference – 17.25 inches unstretched

  • Length: 7 inches

This is a perfect pattern to use if you wish to learn or practice knitting colorwork, as no more than two colors are used at one time in each round.
