Simple Flower Ties
Sweet and simple, these pretty little curtain ties dress up your curtains and use up some spare yarn scraps at the same time.
This pattern if for a pair of flowery ties, make in the round with a simple tie cord.
A photo tutorial for the ‘Mix and Match’ flowers part is available.
Basic stitches used, some experience of working in the round is useful.
You can really use pretty much any left over yarn sport/dk or worsted/aran yarn to make up these little ties. They use very little yardage.
I used Bergère de France “Idéal” (sport weight)
3.5 mm (E USA) crochet hook, or size appropriate for the yarn you’re using.
You’ll also need:
One Size: Each tie is approximately 40cm (16”) long
Size will vary depending on the yarn weight used
- A full written pattern with clear instructions
- Helpful photos to aid assembly
