Sometimes you just yearn for a simple hat. A no-frills hat that is quick to knit up and an easy project on the go. A simple stockinette hat that goes with everything; that does the trick!

MATERIALS
• One skein of Three Irish Girls Springvale Worsted (100 gram/3.53 oz - 210 meters/230 yards)
• 3.5 mm/US4 DPNs and circular knitting needle (40 cm/15 inches) (or appropriate to get gauge)
• Darning needle
• Stitch marker

GAUGE, MEASUREMENTS AND YARDAGE
Gauge: 21 sts/30 rows over 10 cm/4 inches in stockinette (unblocked).
Measurements: Finished size (unblocked) from cast on edge (stretched out) to top of knitted hat; ca 24 cm/9.45 inches high, 49 cm/19.3 inches around.
Estimated yardage: 128 meters/140 yards.
