This is an easy introduction to lace knitting, turning one 50g ball of yarn into a light and airy scarf with not much more than garter stitch.

The finished scarf is 15 cm wide and as long as you want it to be. It is decorated with beads which are sewn on after the knitting is completed.

The pattern is so simple it can be used with any number of stitches and with other weights of yarn for different effects.

All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease.
