The SIMPLE LINES shawl is exactly as it’s name says; a simple crescent shawl with random length stripes that add just enough interest to make is something that you will want to wear all the time.

I have knit two of these shawls, one with a simple I-cord edge and one with a picot edge (instructions for both are included in the pattern) it may just be the piece that I have worn more than any other. It is big enough to wear as a conventional wrap and also narrow enough to wrap around your neck to keep you warm all day.

The yarn is a lovely mix of merino and silk, which is dyed to perfection by DyeFor Yarn. I originally bought the navy Bat in a Dark Mood color on one of my trips to Loop London, but knew it needed a little pop, so I bought the orange Red-Hot Metal on-line from Loop on one of the days when all proceeds went to charity!! I love LOOP!!! All I can say is that if you get a chance to see DyeFor yarn in person, you will want some!!!

You will find several photos of me wearing this scarf over the years (the navy one) on InstaGram and I know you will see many more in the coming months. I really wear this 2 or 3 times a week all winter long!

You really want to knit this shawl…
