This is a simple baby hat. It takes about 1.5 hours to knit from start to end. I use left over bits of sock and DK weight yarn for colorful hats.

I cast on 72 for a newborn hat, but you could cast on 90 for a infant, or 60 for a preemie and make the pattern adjustments as needed.
