Ever wanted to learn how to double knit? Make it your New Year’s Knitting Resolution with this fun and fashionable Simple Plaid scarf!

This pattern is fantastic for beginners and advanced double knitters alike and is designed for your project to be worked as long or short as you’d like. If worked to a 70” length scarf will use approximately 1.5 skeins - around 300 yards - of each color of worsted weight yarn. Amount of yarn used will vary with length of scarf and personal knitting tension.

Quick note - I am currently working on a small photo tutorial for double knitting worked flat that will be added to this pattern as soon as it is finished. For the time being I have attached my old tutorial for double knitting in the round.
