This is a pattern I wrote up to teach beginning crochet students. It’s fairly simple and good practice in trying to keep a nice even rectangle - which can often be challenging for beginners. I found inspiration - (but not an available pattern) from a scarf project I saw on Ravelry.
The flowers on the bottom edges really make the scarf cute - but can be optional. The flowers are connected as you go when crocheting the final rounds of petals.
The flowers could also be finished separately and then connected by sewing them to each other and the bottom edges of the scarf.
