Simple Scallops
This project is made from the top center outward, giving you the flexibility to make a warm weather scarf/shawlette or a full size shawl. The three row repeat is easy to memorize.
Pattern includes written instructions as well as a color coded chart.
Approximately 350 yards of fingering weight yarn make a scarf/shawlette, approximately 450 yards are needed for a shawl. Other yarn weights may easily be substituted for fingering, adjust the hook size accordingly.
Blocking is highly recommended for this project to fully open the stitches, however, with heavier yarns this may not be necessary.
Many thanks to Knitterlee and karend325 for testing the pattern!!
