This is the world’s simplest blouse style but it still looks nice and is fun to wear. This is a blouse you can truly make today and wear tonight. Because it is so very simple, it’s possible to offer it in any gauge for any machine. The knit or purl side can be the right side. You can even use any stitch you like! Tuck is particularly nice. The neckline isn’t shaped. Instead, we simply seam the shoulders as far as desired and the space between is the neckline. It can be racy or modest. If the knit side is used as the right side, the neckline will roll outward slightly, creating the curve that appears. If the purl side is used as the right side, as one might do for tuck or slip, the curl of the neckline will be inward. This pattern is part of an entire book of top down designs called “TOP DOWN TOGS”
