This is a scarf that I designed using stitch patterns that are actually stripes, but create lots of texture and depth.

Stitch patterns used were drawn from A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns, Barbara G. Walker, Schoolhouse Press 1998. Each uses one color per row and create beautiful colorwork surprisingly easily.

This scarf uses 6 colors from leftover stash, all of the same weight. Follow my pattern, or use it as inspiration for your own combination of color and stitch patterns. Just have fun!
