Looking for a pattern to try out your new brioche knitting skills but aren’t ready for anything complicated? Then the Simply the Simplest brioche cowl is a great place to start. With two options, one for basic stripes and the other with just enough colour changes to add flavour, this is a good first project to warm up your brioche skills.

The cowl is knit in the round using basic brioche stitches. The pattern includes detailed instructions on how to position your yarns when changing rounds which is often where people go wrong when working brioche stitch.
