A simple, edgy alternative to a basic ribbed scarf; a perfect project once you’ve mastered knitting and purling, and want to attempt something a little more adventurous. With only 3 unique pattern rows to remember, this scarf project is easily portable, and great for brief moments of down-time. In solid color yarns, this design will highlight the rib pattern as it ripples down the length of the scarf. In variegated yarns, this pattern will highlight the colorful repeats.

Erratum
Please note that earlier versions of the PDF had an error in Row 1 of Ripple Pattern. Row 1 should read:
“K1, M1R (knitwise), k1….”
The pattern is corrected in the PDF marked “v5.”
