Singular means curious, eccentric, funny, odd , peculiar, strange or unusual. I think these qualify for all of the above.

Knitted modularly then stitched together in a contrasting yarn with an overcast stitch - sort of like the leading in a stained glass window.

Modules are triangles and squares then the heel is picked up and knitted like a mitred square and the sole is knitted back and forth, joining it to the instep as you go until you are knitting circularly.

Singular indeed!
