Dyed-across yarn creates Half-Magic-Number panels that are either stacked with mindfulness or reduced by 1 stitch and allowed to argyle. A great deal is the short-row-enhanced 3-needle bind-off joining the panels. This technique allows the panels to hang and behave as if there were knitted seamlessly, and adds a touch of whimsy. Add to the mix a different texture in the same colors, carried from seams to cowl to sleeve edging.
