Pattern description

“This trim shoulder bag makes use of two slip stitch patterns to create an interesting woven look. Zippered or buttoned closure.
Knit in worsted weight yarn, the satchel measures 15” wide, 10” high, 3 1/2” deep. Knit in chunky weight yarn, the satchel measures 18” wide, 13” high, 5” deep.”

Size: about 15” wide at base, 10” high, 31/2” deep
Materials: Worsted weight cotton yarn:
150 yds. each of 3 colors (A, B & C)
Knitting needles size 8
4 split-lock markers
2 ring markers
1 12” zipper or 1 button and a crochet hook size G
Gauge: 18 sts., 24 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch
