A collaboration between three best friends forever having fun together at the Edinburgh Yarn Fest 2016, strolling the beautiful, inspirational city, and their two best friends forever who unfortunately could not accompany them.

Three of us bought a single sport weight skein in a neutral color and one of those inspiring gradient kits by Easyknits.co.uk. We also bought one gradient set each for our two friends. The idea was to design a cowl with the yarn given – just like in one of those famous “Cooking shows” on TV => “same ingredients – different output” => Same same – but different!

This double-sided cowl is worked in the round. One side features a geometric motif, the other side stockinette stitch stripes. The fabric is then folded in half, connecting the cast on edge as you bind off or with a kitchener stitch. The result is a reversible cowl.

You can also work both sides with the same motif.
