Stripes of Garter stitch and Stockinette Stitch alternate up the body and sleeves of this long cardigan. The body is worked in one piece to the armholes, with a separate all of yarn used for each front and each side of the back, and yarns are twisted intarsia-fashion. The stripe pattern is given a twist by using a half-drop to the repeat so the Garter stripes are offset in each quarter of the body. The hand-painted colorway creates a color block affect-for an even stronger color blocking affect, select a yarn with longer color repeats.
