This is my attempt to make a 6 point start. The end result I got is shown along with the pattern. I typed the pattern in excel and created a PDF. I thought it match the original picture fairly closely but you might want to bind off purlwise on row 35 instead of purling the row and binding off purl wise on the next row like I did. I think my final band is a little wider than the original, but that is what I did in the posted pictured. I knitted this using Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn, Peaches and Cream but any yarn would work you just need to adjust the needle size to get the desired open look you want.

Any Yarn will work. You should adjusted the needle size to get the desired open look in the pattern. If it is too open use a smaller needle or if it is too tight use a larger needle to get the look you want.

Oct 2017: Thanks to Tinyknits’ help I found where I left off the increase in the written (and charted) pattern on line 30. I corrected the pattern and posted the updated pattern with updated pictures. (I improved pattern write up by adding stitch count on each line and general clean up with updated chart.) Hope you Enjoy!
