Gauge for the cowl is 23 sts and 27 rows in 4 inches

This set of mittens and cowl works up quickly, and is soft and warm. The pattern is easily memorized after a few rounds and the neutral colorway complements many outerwear colors.

The mittens have a gusseted thumb, and modified vee top for an excellent fit. The cowl has a hem on both top and bottom.

Size can easily be adjusted in length, and with slight variations in gauge. For much larger or smaller sizes, Ultra Alpaca, or Ultra Alpaca Fine are also options.

The pattern reminds me of some M.C. Escher prints, but even more like a vee of geese flying overhead!
