Skipping Stones features Hudson Valley Fibers, Moodna, a 40% New York State Romney/60% US fine wool DK weight. The slipped seed stitch pattern shows off the stitch definition and loft of this specially crafted wool.

The scarf is worked in the round, then cut open. The fringe is created when stitches are unraveled after steeking. Wooden beads are pre-strung for the cast-on and added again before the bind-off.
