MATERIALS REQUIRED—Fourteen skeins 4-ply wool, two No. 8 knitting needles, four No. 10 knitting needles.

The skirt is knitted in a simple chevron pattern which in the finished garment has the appearance of a heavy-weight hand woven tweed. After laundering it retains its shape perfectly, and does not drop or sag at the seams.
