Ahoy Matey! Ye have nothing to fear with this Shrug, worthy of the feircest of Buccaneers! Even skallywags need warm shoulders, and those pirates just fresh on the sea sometimes be cold, ye know? For them that are, they can have some swashbukling fun with this skully shrug. Arrrggghhh!

I designed this “shrug” for my boys, whom I wear in a baby carrier ALL. THE. TIME. It is such a hassle to strap them on me when they have bulky coats on, but even worse when they do have coats on, but we go inside and they are suddenly too warm. This shrug can be slid on and off easy as pie while your little one is still in the carrier.

The pattern is written in the flat and seamed, but has modifications for knitting it in the round.

Knowledge of intarsia is necessary for the skull design.
