This versatile shawlette is started at the narrowest point and increases point by point until the you reach your desired length or you are out of yarn. The decorative points along one edge are a simple lace pattern that is worked simultaneously with the body of the shawl.

variations
This shawlette is easily be modified by using different yarns or by simply adding some buttons. If you are using a different yarn or making a longer or shorter version, you may end up with a different number of points.

gauge
18 sts and 32 rows to 4 inches in garter stitch, blocked.

yarn
•1 skein of Plymouth Linaza (440 yds/100 g skein, shown in color 4888) or 440 yds of fingering weight yarn
